Precision extrusion for higher data rates
For copper datacom, Rosendahl offers high-precision foam extrusion technology for applications requiring high data rates, low latency, and reliable performance at elevated temperatures, including Twinax cables. Flexible insulation technology enables manufacturers to process solid and foamed designs, as well as high- and low-temperature materials, on the same production line.
Maximizing fiber density
As data centers scale and bandwidth demand grows, fiber optic cables need to carry more fibers in increasingly compact designs. Rosendahl Nextrom supports this with an integrated manufacturing chain for high-density datacom and DCI cables, from rollable ribbons and bundling to SZ super-bundling and final jacketing. This approach enables higher fiber density while maintaining reliable handling and scalable production.
Advanced fiber technologies
Nextrom is advancing technologies for specialty fibers, including hollow-core and multicore fibers, supporting new possibilities for high-capacity optical networks. Multicolor Ringmarking complements these developments with flexible, reliable fiber identification for increasingly complex fiber designs. In addition, the portfolio includes fiber drawing and proof testing solutions at speeds of up to 3,500 m/min.
