Stranding, yarn application, and extrusion in one step
The line combines stranding, yarn application, and extrusion in one integrated production process. This helps reduce unnecessary handling steps and supports efficient manufacturing of complete premises cable products.
Yarn application and strength members
The line can integrate high-speed low-tension yarn serving, aramid yarn pay-offs, and strength member pay-offs for FRP rods and other cable elements. This supports different indoor cable constructions and helps build the required cable strength directly into the production process.
ROEX extrusion and material processing
ROEX extrusion technology supports stable processing of common indoor cable materials such as PVC, PE, HFFR, and PA12. The extruder design includes stable output, operation-friendly adjustment, and customized screw design for different product and material requirements.
Crosshead and HFFR processing
OFC 43 can be configured with NXH or RX crosshead solutions. For HFFR compounds, the material highlights the need for a crosshead distributor with large and deep flow channels, supporting proper material flow and stable extrusion quality in demanding indoor cable applications.
Cooling, take-up, and line handling
The line can include CS 15 cooling, capstan solutions, and automatic dual take-ups or single take-up with accumulator for stable handling from extrusion to winding. The cooling system supports customized cooling lengths, product-related capacity checks, and temperature stability, while take-up solutions support round and flat products with accurate traversing.
Repeatable production and line control
The line control system supports recipes, alarm log, data logging, and factory network connection. This allows established process parameters to be reused and helps maintain repeatability between production runs.
