maintenance
How to keep product quality at a maximum and downtime at a minimum? With well-maintained equipment.
That sounds easy, but in fact there’s plenty of work behind it. Maintenance management requires ample organization and coordination. It involves scheduling personnel, procuring spare parts in advance, and carefully timing everything within the production calendar – certainly not an easy task. Now imagine having a tool that simplifies all those responsibilities for you.
Westudied the maintenance requirements of all their production lines intensely and collected feedback from maintenance specialists worldwide. The outcome: A simple-to-use, yet powerful tool for managing all your maintenance tasks with only a few clicks.
Increased equipment reliability
Minimized downtime
Improved operational efficiency
Effortless planning with a user-friendly calendar
An intuitively designed calendar helps you to manage your maintenance tasks. You can see at a glance when tasks are due and what their priority levels are.
The user-friendly interface simplifies scheduling, allowing you to plan resources and allocate time accordingly.
You will get a notification in time before a maintenance task is coming up. That way you have enough time to prepare interventions.
Maintenance instructions at your fingertips
Who has the right level of expertise to perform the maintenance work? What spare parts and tools are needed for the work?
Whether it’s a routine task or a complex procedure, you’ll have clear instructions right at your fingertips. That leads to consistency in your maintenance procedures and reduces errors by ensuring that all maintenance tasks are only carried out by authorized operators.
preventive vs predictive maintenance
What triggers your maintenance tasks?
The new RIO add-on comes with predefined settings, based on Rosendahl’s experience from comparable projects. You are free to define your own maintenance triggers, though, based on your unique operational requirements.
Wear parts typically need to be replaced after a specific time interval or a certain number of operating hours. These are preventive maintenance triggers. In the app, you can see exactly where the part is in its lifecycle and when the next intervention will be necessary.
With RIO’s integrated maintenance system, you also have the possibility to use condition-based maintenance approaches by defining specific process parameters as triggers. These paraÂmeters will then be continuously monitored. (Of course, the corresponding sensors and gauges must be implemented into the line control to do that.) Once a downward pattern is recognizable or a certain threshold is reached, you will receive a warning. That way you can intervene before a major problem occurs.
All those key functionalities make RIO’s integrated maintenance system a very helpful tool. Expect increased equipment reliability, minimized downtime, and improved operational efficiency if you integrate it into your workflow.
