The latest RL-R generation is equipped with numerous features to push your productivity to the next level.
Active tension control
Each individual fiber can be fitted with an automatic tension controller. It constantly monitors the fiber tension and makes real-time adjustments when needed. That way, EFL variations are reduced to a minimum.
High-speed fiber cutter
Once you’ve reached your desired cable length, the fiber cutter instantly clamps and cuts all fibers. After ramping down, the rescued fiber lengths are rewound to their fiber spools. This feature saves several meters of fiber per production run.
New jelly filling system
Achieve optimized jelly flow and better process stability with the new jelly filling system. The reworked design significantly reduces EFL variations. In addition, it requires less maintenance and simplifies overall handling.
Compact cooling trough
Despite high production speeds, the RL-R line operates with an exceptionally short cooling section. The very compact cooling capstan design saves several meters of floor space compared to the previous RL-R generation.
Shrinkage control capstans
Our enhanced dual clenching system is designed to minimize the excess length of the fiber and the post-shrinkage of the tube. The clenching system works reliably at high speeds, enables high uptimes and easy operation.
High-speed Superdry
This automated drying system is specifically designed for high production speeds. Its unique air channel design effectively eliminates water residues, reducing false ghost lump alarms and minimizing disruptions in quality monitoring.
Online EFL monitoring
The system measures the fiber length on pay-off side and the tube length before take-up. Based on these 2 values, the Excess Fiber Length is calculated. As soon as deviations occur, you’ll be notified.
Universal semi-automatic dual reeler
Designed for a wide reel range, easy handling, and high-speed performance — with reel changes possible at full line speed. Optional: integrated rewinding mode.
